Aromatherapy Pregnancy Precautions
- Essential oils should always be used in low dilution during pregnancy (1 to 2%).
- The following commonly used essential oils must be avoided during pregnancy:
- Basil
- Cedarwood
- Clary Sage
- Cypress
- Fennel
- Jasmine
- Juniperberry
- Marjoram
- Myrrh
- Peppermint
- Rosemary
- Thyme
- Lavender, Rose, Chamomile and Geranium should be avoided during your first trimester,
or if you have a previous history of miscarriage.
